What is a Declaration of Refusal form and when can it be used?

• A Declaration of Refusal form may be signed only if a seller or buyer refuses to sign a required disclosure

• This applies to disclosures only

Important rules for DOR forms:

• ✔ Allowed only for disclosures

• ❌ Not allowed for required agreements or contracts

• ❌ Cannot replace required paperwork

All non-disclosure documents are mandatory and do not allow a Declaration of Refusal.
